Rose came into care after she was found in a paddock as a newborn, alone and immunocompromised.
Rose had an incredible will to live and fire inside her to fight. Her health was complicated from the start, we worked tirelessly with our vets to better understand what was happening inside Rose’s fragile body. Unfortunately when Rose began to deteriorate, we knew the kindest thing to do was to assist her leaving this world. Our team of vets did everything they could to treat her but her condition was too severe.
While Rose had a lot of health issues she also had alot of happiness. She went on adventures and loved her friends.
The loss of Rose was and still continues to be devastating. We want to ensure everyday, that Rose’s spirit of kindness, love and determination will always live on here at the sanctuary. Rose’s Refuge is a place where everyone is respected for the unique, special individuals they are.
